Why are you selling the business?

I am selling this project because I am busy with other things and no longer have time to maintain this project.

What is included in the sale?

I will transfer the domain and source code, and since the site runs automatically, it shouldn't require any extra work on your end. You should have it up and running with your own amazon affiliate program in a day.

What is the technological stack?

The site is built using Eleventy, a static site generator. The script to update the data is written in Python and hosted on github actions. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

What actions are required to keep the business working?

The site runs automatically, so the only maintenance will be rare, like if github updates their python version.

Through the Amazon affiliate program.

A few posts on Reddit.

How can the future owner improve this business?

Lots of ways! The site could expand to use other Amazon marketplaces like Canada, Australia, UK etc. More data will be helpful to users, like linux compatibility, brightness, numpad.

Of course, with better investment in marketing, the project can grow, as it's usefulness has been validated.

I've also been experimenting with an AI chatbot trained on this data to recommend the best laptop to users based on their requirements. Big task but I think it has more potential to take off!
