Over the years, LinkedIn has largely favored job seekers with considerably amount of working experience (4+). A job seeker not having work experience does not mean they aren't capable or talented. There are many job seekers with amazing talents that an overlooked. The talent industry needs change.

KwickBox provides a public platform to showcase the profiles and front pages of job seekers with little or no working experience to recruiters and employers. The platform also provides a dead simple user interface where users can easily invite friends and colleagues to review their C.V online.

KwickBox provides a simple user interface which makes setting up a professional C.V site easy as pie. KwickBox is the first platform to provide the online C.V review feature. With this feature, users are able to collect diverse feedback from friends and colleagues by simply sharing their C.V site link. The platform also becomes the first platform largely focused on job seekers with little experience. These people are the future.

With regards to the system features:

The platform is divided into two parts, the website and main platform

The website:

  • is where we feature the profiles of job seekers with little or no working experience

  • is where people can search for talented job seekers using search words such as skills, location, language and job field (software, accounting etc)

  • is where we display highlighted profiles. These are people who have moving, inspirational and attractive (design) front pages

The main platform is where users:

  • can register and get started with KwickBox

  • are able to enter their information using our intuitive, step-by-step CV builder

  • can request to have their front page featured

  • can design their front page (upload images, videos, etc)

  • can invite people to review their CV online. Said people are able to provide feedback per CV section, portfolio and other pages

  • can track who viewed their CV and front page, via a geographical map

  • can adjust security and privacy settings. Here, users can give limited access to potential employers, friends and third-party job applications (via random tweets, emails, etc)

  • can adjust the theme settings for their CV's

  • can connect their GitHub accounts to feature both private and public (open source) projects

  • can add custom pages to their CV. For example, what they are currently working on, a blog and much more

  • can set privacy settings on custom pages. Basically they can limit who gets to view said custom page.

  • can send requests to referees to provide valid references

The employers section (in development)

  • I'm currently implementing an employers and recruiters section where employers are able to download the updated CV's of their employees, access private information (consent to be given by said employees)

  • I'm also working on developing a private and public API to retrieve information. No need for ATS

The main reason to be in tech is innovation. I'm selling my startup to see it grow bigger and faster in the hands of someone who has more innovative plans.
