Clasyn is an AI tool that organizes your messy files into folders how you want.
Describe your business
Clasyn is a web-based AI tool that helps users clean up and organize messy folders. You upload your files, write a prompt describing how you want them organized (by type, topic, date, etc.), and it instantly builds a structured folder tree. You can rename, delete, and move files directly in the interface, then download everything as a neatly organized ZIP file.
Why are you selling the business?
I'm selling Clasyn because I genuinely believe it has strong potential to grow, but I no longer have the time or motivation to keep working on it. Rather than let it sit idle, I’d rather pass it on to someone who can take it further.
What is included in the sale?
Full ownership of the Clasyn web app
All frontend & backend code
AI file organization logic (prompt handling, structure generation, etc.)
Domain name
Branding & assets
Logo, visuals, app icons, and styling
Landing page / website
Marketing copy and design
Hosting setup or deployment instructions
Help with handing over the infrastructure if needed
What is the technological stack?
Clasyn’s tech stack includes Next.js 13.1.1 as the React framework for the frontend web application, utilizing React 18.2.0 as the UI library. Styling is managed with CSS Modules, and the app supports Progressive Web App features through the next-pwa plugin. On the backend, Clasyn uses Next.js API Routes to create server-side API endpoints, with OpenAI GPT-4 powering the AI-driven file organization and analysis. Firebase is employed for user authentication via Firebase Auth, data storage through Firebase Realtime Database, and hosting. For file processing and utilities, Clasyn integrates PDF.js for PDF viewing and processing, Mammoth for DOCX file handling, JSZip for ZIP file creation and management, Archiver for file archiving, and File-saver for client-side file downloads. Payment processing and subscription management are handled by Stripe, while Nodemailer manages email services for password delivery. The development environment is based on Node.js (version 14.6.0 or higher), with CORS implemented for cross-origin resource sharing. Express adds additional server functionality, and file uploads are managed with middleware such as Multer, Formidable, or Multiparty.
What actions are required to keep the business working?
Not much—mainly adding features based on user requests. Users can provide feedback directly through the platform.
How does your business make money?
It makes money with a weekly subscription.
What marketing initiatives have been used for this business?
I shared my project on IndieHackers, ProductHunt, and Reddit, and also tried a cold outreach approach on Facebook by posting in relevant groups and reaching out to people who engaged with my posts. Honestly, I didn’t put in a lot of effort overall.
How can the future owner improve this business?
ontinue posting on various platforms, create engaging content, consider trying Google Ads, and actively network to spread the word.
