Why are you selling the business?

I launched this as an experiment, to see what it would look like to take this from 0-1. I considered scaling it/bringing on an operator, but right now I just have too much on my plate.

What is included in the sale?

You'll get the domains (linkedbio.co and mybiopage.link), access to the codebase, logos, landing page code, and the TikTok account

What is the technological stack?

Laravel. The vast majority of the code for this platform is white-labeled, with the full rights to use the code in it's current capacity - there are no ongoing fees, as the license has already been paid for out of my pocket.

How does your business make money?

I also haven't gotten the chance to monetize this, however there are quite a few ways you could:

• Create a paid plan and charge month to month (in the future, you could possibly leverage a service like Pipe to get this cash upfront and use it to grow)
• Promote affiliate offers or place native ads within the Linkedbio dashboard
• (More advanced, but, in my opinion is the best long term play); find affiliate programs with great products and great commissions/Earn Per Click rates. Find users in the database whose audience would benefit from those products, and reach out asking if they'd be interested in your placing these affiliate links on their bio link, for example in a recommendations tab — your value proposition is that you'd maintain the links, handle relationships with affiliates and negotiate the best rates, cutting the user say 80% of the earnings. This is similar to Honey's business model which allowed them to exit for $4B.

What marketing initiatives have been used for this business?

Growth has been all organic, with very little outreach and no paid spend. As mentioned, I've haven't had the time to focus on growing this, but there are a lot of ways you could:

• Cold outreach to TikTok influencers - TT is currently putting 'restricted link' warnings in front of links from Beacons and, in some cases, Linktree. Low hanging fruit is to reach out to these folks via Instagram DM's, TikTok, or email and mention you'd love to help them get switched over. Even better, take a minute or two and create a link that models their current link, or even improves it. This outreach process shouldn't be hard to automate.
• Listings on sites like Product Hunt
• Introducing to specific niches - you can generate a lot of customers by providing value in these communities (Reddit, Discord, Slack Channels, Facebook Groups, etc.)
• Organic marketing, especially on TikTok... I feel there are a lot of creative angles you could pursue that could resonate with TT audiences and potentially go viral.
• Instagram shoutouts from influencers - cheap, and if you play your cards right can be extremely effective.
• Create a blog with keywords targeted for SEO (a long term play, but could pay off)
• Solo ads (can be very cheap)
• Targeted PPC ads

How can the future owner improve this business?

In addition to all mentioned above, there's a lot of low hanging fruit; create a higher converting landing page, run retargeting ads, incentivize referrals, etc.
