Why are you selling the business?

I am considering selling 25Genius AI because the company is at a strategic inflection point. We have proven product-market fit, gained early traction, and built strong core technology. But scaling from here demands a different kind of operational focus, capital intensity, and organizational setup: one that does not fully align with what I want to be doing long-term. Whether it is the fatigue that comes with constant fundraising or a pull toward new ideas, I recognize that a larger player could likely accelerate adoption and impact beyond what we can do as a lean team.

There is also timing. AI adoption in the enterprise space is heating up, and there's a real opportunity to capitalize on that momentum now. I believe the platform we have built can go much further in the hands of someone with broader reach, whether through distribution, enterprise relationships, or global scale. For me, this is not about giving up, much rather about knowing when is the right time to hand it off and start building something new.

What is the technological stack?

We use Python and FastAPI on the backend, Temporal to manage workflow tasks, and the frontend was built with React. Desktop app was built using Tauri (TS + Rust).

What actions are required to keep the business working?

First, the infrastructure needs to be monitored and maintained. The backend services are stable, but regular upkeep, like managing uptime, scaling resources as usage grows, and ensuring security patches is necessary. This includes monitoring integrations with third-party platforms (Google Workspace) and handling any API changes.

Second, user support and onboarding need to stay active. Answering user questions, fixing bugs quickly, and improving the onboarding experience are key to retaining teams and driving adoption. Even with a self-serve model, light-touch customer success plays a big role, especially with trial-to-paid conversion.

Finally, the product itself needs ongoing iteration (features and UX). Prioritizing these updates, shipping small improvements regularly, and occasionally releasing larger upgrades will help keep the product competitive and valuable.

The next owner of 25Genius AI can take the product much further by focusing on enterprise sales and distribution. We have built something teams genuinely want, but reaching larger companies at scale requires a different level of infrastructure: dedicated sales teams, procurement experience, and relationships that we have not fully developed yet. Someone with that setup already in place could plug 25Genius AI into their network and move much faster.

Another big area is trust and compliance. As more regulated industries start exploring AI tools, features like role-based access control, audit logs, and certifications like SOC 2 or ISO 27001 become essential. We have laid the technical foundation, but a buyer with the resources to prioritize and fast-track security and compliance will be in a better position to close big enterprise deals.

Lastly, there is room to expand the product itself. Deeper integrations with tools companies already use, like Salesforce, Notion, or Jira, would make it even stickier. There is also potential in customizing the product for specific industries or regions, which we have not had the time to focus on. With the right team and budget, the product could evolve into a broader solution that powers more day-to-day work across entire organizations.
