Kroplet is a Bootstrap 4 theme builder and customizer. It lets users to customize Bootstrap layout, content and components sass variables to generate a custom design to match it with their company branding. They can download the theme or host it at Kroplet's global CDN powered by AWS CloudFront.

Why are you selling the business?

I soft launched the business at the end of 2017 but couldn't find time to work on it further. I am looking for someone to take over it and grow it to a nice little design tool.

What is the technological stack?

The builder is developed in Angular 5 (front-end), Node.js, Express.js & MongoDB (backend). It uses AWS S3 for storing assets (images, themes files) and SES for sending emails. The site is hosted on EC2. Paddle.com is used for payments.

What actions are required to keep the business working?

The site is stable and used by dozens of designers to generate Bootstrap 4 themes. The buyer should focus on marketing the site to bring in more customers.

How does your business make money?

Kroplet is free to generate and host up to 3 themes. If user wants to get full access, he can upgrade to premium plan for $10/month.

What marketing initiatives have been used for this business?

Since it is still in private beta, I didn't spend any time on marketing.

How can the future owner improve this business?

Since Bootstrap team regularly releases new updates, the buyer should be ready to upgrade the builder to latest version. The future owner should be someone who is active in design community and know how to promote the site to reach right people. He can also use this tool to generate landing pages to sell theme on marketplaces like WrapBootstrap and so for more revenue.
